Frequently Asked Questions

How configurable is iTMS?
This system is more flexible than you will believe! And it does not need a software consultant to do it (although we fully understand if you ask a few questions).
Can iTMS dial the phone?
Yes, by using SIP/VoIP, Asterisk, TAPI, Skype, Vonage, IP Commands or Adaptive Messaging. iTMS has the capability of power dialing making very efficient and fast dialing. Modems can be used but they are not the best devices for this use.
Can I export data?
Yes, it is very easy to export any data in the system.
Can I import Do Not Call lists (TPS) ?
Yes, just import your lists of telephone numbers that shouldn't be called and then screen your database against that list. In the UK this is known as the Telephone Preference Service (TPS).
Can I see how many calls each operator is making?
Yes, iTMS logs all call information. There are on-screen options to see the number of calls by user by day, by week and by month. There are also a variety of monitor report screens. And you can always create your own reports.
Can I send emails from iTMS?
Can I give a user a specifc call list?
No problem! This is what iTMS is all about - control of users. As the Supervisor you define their signon settings so that each user gets the database and call list that you define. Or you can give them full access to everything (although it's not really recommended - you can never really trust agents to not fiddle with setups!)
Can I use iTMS for appointment making?
Yes, there is special funcationality for appointment setting. Use either free-format or predefined times, which enable you to ensure that operators only use the available times. Since all data is stored centrally duplicate appointment times should become a thing of the past! Instead of just using the built-in diary you can set the system to update GoogleCalendar (which can then sync with your Outlook or PDA).
How much data can I store?
We do not limit the amount of data you can store so long as it's not excessive compared to the number of licences you subscribe to.
How much control do I have over operators?
The Supervisor can control each user's authority level and also what call lists they can access.
What about reports?
There is a certain amount of information available on-screen, but otherwise there is an internal report writer that helps you to select your fields and data and view or export the results. The types of reports are: List, Summary or Pivot-table/Cross-tab
Can I have a number of different databases?
Yes, TMS you can have up to 999 - each one can have different fields and different screen layouts.
Can I collect information in the scripts?
Yes, the scripting is very flexible. You can get the system to firstly display the content of the relevant database fields and then return the updated or new data to those same fields. You also have the ability to merge any data fields into the script text/questions and you can set branching/routing according to a number of parameters.
Can I change the screen layouts and texts?
Yes, without needing any technical knowledge, iTMS has the most flexible screen configuration options possible.
Are scripts easy to setup?
Yes, you don't need any extensive courses or programming knowledge, just add the questions and answers as you need. And you can have as many scripts as you want.
Can I restrict users from certain functions?
Yes, every user has an authority level that determines what functions they can access. In addition you can set their signons so that they can only access certain call lists.
Can I do printed mail-merges in iTMS?
Yes, the complete mail-merge is done within iTMS, all you have to do is setup the merge template, then download the file to print using a standard Windows word-processor.
